Professional Referrals

I work with GPs, legal professionals, and allied health providers to support clients navigating relationship distress, separation, and life transitions through structured, attachment-informed counselling.

Many clients come to counselling during periods of relationship stress, emotional overwhelm, separation, or major life transition. These are often times where additional relational support can help people stabilise, reflect, and move forward more clearly.

My work is focused on relationship patterns, emotional regulation, communication, and attachment dynamics - particularly during periods of disconnection, uncertainty, or change.

When to refer

You may consider referring clients who are experiencing:

  • Relationship distress or ongoing conflict

  • Emotional dysregulation linked to relational stress

  • Separation or ambiguity about staying together

  • Co-parenting challenges or post-separation adjustment

  • Difficulty communicating needs or boundaries in relationships

  • Anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional withdrawal impacting relationships

My approach

My work is grounded in attachment-informed, evidence-based counselling, supporting clients to understand relational patterns, regulate emotional responses, and make clear, considered decisions during periods of stress or transition.

Sessions focus on helping clients:

  • understand interaction patterns and cycles

  • reduce reactivity and emotional escalation

  • improve communication and emotional clarity

  • make informed decisions about their relationship direction

  • rebuild stability during periods of relational uncertainty

Collaboration and communication

I value respectful, collaborative relationships with referring professionals.

With client consent, I can provide brief updates or communicate regarding engagement in therapy where appropriate.

My aim is always to support continuity of care and ensure clients are well supported across services.

My work is strictly focused on relationship and emotional wellbeing support.
