Why invest in premarital counselling?
Strong marriages are built intentionally - not assumed. It’s a system built on communication, expectations, and shared decision-making.
This program helps couples slow down and intentionally explore the areas that most often create tension later on, including:
-
communication styles under stress
-
expectations around roles, money, and lifestyle
-
conflict patterns and repair styles
-
emotional needs and differences
-
long-term direction and shared values
Who this is for
This program is designed for couples who are:
-
engaged or seriously considering marriage
-
wanting to build a strong foundation before committing
-
aware that love alone isn’t enough for long-term stability
-
open to structured conversations about future expectations
-
committed to doing relationship work early, not reactively
What the program focuses on
In this program, we focus on:
-
strengthening communication before challenges arise
-
exploring expectations around marriage and partnership
-
identifying early patterns that may become long-term issues
-
building skills for conflict resolution and repair
-
creating alignment around values, lifestyle, and future plans
Why couples choose this program
Many couples only seek support once problems are already established.
The Long Game is designed differently - it’s proactive, structured, and focused on strengthening the relationship before patterns become entrenched.
This program is designed for couples preparing for long-term commitment who want to strengthen communication, alignment, and relational awareness.
The focus is on building stable foundations for long-term relational functioning.
Program Details
All couples begin with an initial Assessment Phase (for purchase separately). This allows us to understand your relationship and determine the most appropriate structure for the work.
Once the assessment phase has been completed, you'll move into the core sessions:
-
16 × 90-min joint sessions
Reviews will be conducted regularly to ensure the pace is right for where you are, and any other supports you may need throughout the program.
